When it comes to human sexuality, the world knows what Christians are against: Sex outside of marriage, same-sex relationships, gender transitions, pornography, etc.
But does the world, and more importantly, do we know the Christian understanding of what human sexuality is for?
That’s the topic of an outstanding new book by Christopher West entitled, “Our Bodies Tell God’s Story.”
As West writes, the created order, including our bodies, are fundamentally for the purpose of revealing God, a form of general revelation. In fact, human beings, including our bodies, are the highest form of general revelation, according to West, ultimately pointing to the eternal communion with God we have through Jesus Christ.
In a world of so much sexual brokenness, I just can’t recommend this book enough. For any donation to BreakPoint and the Colson Center during the month of March, we will send you a copy of “Our Bodies Tell God’s Story” by Christopher West as a thank you.
