Texas Sues Biden Administration
The federal government pushes harder on gender transition interventions as other nations pull back.

A few weeks ago, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the Biden Administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) over its new transgender healthcare rule. The rule would force Medicaid and healthcare providers to cover and perform surgical “transition” interventions under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act. Any healthcare provider or medical institution that refuses to perform or pay for these interventions is liable to lose federal healthcare funds.
As Paxton said in his press release: “We are suing to stop the Biden Administration from withholding federal healthcare funds to force medical professionals to perform these experimental and dangerous procedures.”
HHS issued the rule just as most other Western nations have hit the brakes on pushing for chemical and surgical gender transition interventions as “treatment” for gender dysphoria. Far from treating the real issues, these procedures often make matters worse, especially in the long run. Under the Biden Administration, HHS is not serving health or humanity.
