They blaspheme the Lord of Life. For the Colson Center, I’m John Stonestreet with The Point.
This Washington Post headline turned my stomach: “Clergy gather to bless one of the only U. S. Clinics performing late-term abortions.”
Baptist minister Carlton Veazey prayed that God would assure the abortionists that “all they do is for thy glory.” UCC minister Cari Jackson joined in sprinkling the abortion rooms with water as “a symbol of sanctification.”
One of my colleagues asked me, “Can we really call these ministers brothers and sisters in Christ?” My answer was: absolutely not. The Post may call them “Christian pastors,” but no true follower of Christ should.
They’re not ministers of the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. They’ve chosen to become priests and priestesses of Molech. They have rejected the Lord of Life who commands “let the little children come to me,” and instead offer the blood of slaughtered babies to the Father of Lies. Their ritual is child sacrifice, communion with death.
Brothers and sisters, as Paul told Timothy, these ministers oppose the truth. So have nothing to do with them.
