Back in 2017, Jack Phillips, cake artist and owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, won a resounding victory at the U.S. Supreme Court. In a 7-2 decision, the Court ruled that the state of Colorado had mistreated Jack and denigrated his religious beliefs. This Tuesday, June 18, Jack will be back in court, this time in the Colorado Supreme Court.

Since winning his case in the highest court in the land, Jack has been harassed by a transgender lawyer who has repeatedly asked him to custom make perverted and offensive cakes, including one to celebrate his “gender transition.” Though the Colorado Civil Rights Commission dropped charges against Jack in this latest case, this activist attorney filed a personal lawsuit. A lower court ruled that this ongoing harassment was acceptable, and that Jack should be forced to bake his “gender transition” cake.

Jack is defended by the Alliance Defending Freedom, and the appeal will be heard at the Colorado Supreme Court this Tuesday. Please pray, and share your prayers online. If you are in Colorado, join us outside the court for a Justice for Jack Rally at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Or you can join the rally online. Learn more about the case at adflegal.org.
