You might remember that President Trump reinstated the “Mexico City Policy,” which bans U.S. funding to foreign non-government organizations that provide or promote abortions.

As I said at the time, it’s great news. What I didn’t expect was that other nations would rush in to replace the loss of U.S. funds for overseas abortions.

That’s what happened. So far, as reported at the Stream.org, eight countries have agreed to establish an international fund to kill babies: Canada, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, and Cape Verde.

As one Swedish official bloviated, if women can’t “control their own bodies,” that would have serious consequences for “gender rights” and “global poverty eradication.”

And, I’ll add human life eradication.

While there’s comfort in knowing our tax dollars won’t be funding abortions overseas, evil does not rest. Nor should we.
